Model authority as a ladder

Reading a calendar, drafting a reply and sending it are different permissions. Define each tool action explicitly and grant the lowest level that completes the job. Do not convert a connected account into blanket authority over every supported app.

Voice adds recognition ambiguity and social exposure: another person may speak near the device, or a name may be misheard. Require device or account confirmation when the request changes shared information, communicates externally or deletes data.

Preview the interpreted request

Show the target, time range, recipients, files and action before execution. For a background task, summarize the schedule and stopping condition. A user should be able to correct one field without repeating the entire request.

Use reversible defaults: create a draft, move mail to trash instead of permanent deletion and preserve version history. Escalate confirmation when a task expands beyond its initial scope or discovers a new destination.

Keep control after launch

Provide a dashboard for active and scheduled jobs with pause, cancel and revoke controls. Log the original instruction, interpreted plan, approvals, tool calls and final changes without retaining sensitive audio longer than necessary.
